What You Need to Know About Visiting Thailand

Thailand is an amazing country with a beautiful culture and wonderful people. Thailand has so much to offer! From the jungle filled with exotic animals, to the delicious food that you can find on every street, there is something for everyone.

As a visitor in such a foreign land, it’s important to remember that although the Thai people are very welcoming and friendly, it’s still important to do your research before you leave. This blog will cover some of the things you should and shouldn’t do while visiting Thailand.

Don’t feed the monkeys at Monkey Hill in Phuket! You may think they’re cute but they can be vicious!

If you want to see some monkeys without being attacked or robbed, visit the monkey temple in Chiang Mai instead. The monkeys there won’t bite because they’ve been trained not too by their handlers.

If you’re coming to Thailand and you want to see the sights, you can do that on your own. However, if you want a real Thai experience, the best way is to hire a guide. If you hire a guide, they will take care of all the accommodations for you including hotels and transportation. They will also be able to give you tips on how to get around town and where to find great food.

Thailand is a very touristy country. It has many different attractions and is known as “The Land of Smiles.” The people are friendly and welcoming, even to foreigners. You can visit Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket or even Chiang Mai in just one trip!

There are some things you should know before visiting Thailand though:

There’s no need to speak Thai unless it’s absolutely necessary (if someone doesn’t speak English). You can communicate with hand gestures and smiles. Most taxi drivers have an English-Thai dictionary that they use when driving tourists around so don’t worry about finding one!

When traveling around Thailand, be sure not to wear anything too revealing because it will attract attention from men who might want more than just eye contact with you (you’ll probably get propositioned at least once). It’s best if

I’ve been wanting to travel to Thailand for years, from the out-of-this-world food, to the beautiful beaches, and the amazing architecture. I finally got to go a few months ago and it was everything I hoped it would be!

Thailand is an amazing country with tons of things to do. But there are some things you should know about before you go. In this blog post I’ll cover some of the best things to do in Thailand, as well as mistakes you should avoid making while visiting.

Let’s get started!

If you’re planning on visiting Thailand, here is a list of things you should avoid doing.

1. Don’t touch someone’s head.

2. Don’t point your feet at anyone.

3. Don’t raise your voice or yell at anyone.

4. Don’t show the soles of your feet in public.

5. Don’t touch monks or their belongings.

6. Don’t wear shoes inside someone’s home/office/temple or any other building for that matter (even small shops). If you see a shoe rack, use it! This rule applies to all indoor spaces except bathrooms and hotel rooms (but it’s not a bad idea to take them off in there either).

7. Don’t go topless on the beach (women). Topless sunbathing is illegal in Thailand, so even though you might see the occasional topless woman on some of the more notorious beaches, it’s best not to follow their example unless you want to end up in a Thai jail cell or paying off a police officer (which isn’t uncommon).

Thailand is a wonderful country for tourists. It has beautiful beaches, historical sites, and lovely food. And it’s very cheap. But there are a lot of things you should know before you go.

Choosing a hotel in Bangkok

Bangkok is a big city, and there is a lot of accommodation to choose from. If you are on a budget, there are many guesthouses and hostels available. For the more expensive travellers, there are luxury hotels.

When choosing where to stay, make sure that the hotel has nearby transport links. Some hotels do not have good transport links. In this case, you will have to hire a taxi. Hiring a taxi can be expensive for tourists.

Choosing an airport in Bangkok

There are two airports in Bangkok: Suvarnabhumi Airport (pronounced suh-wahn-nah-poom) and Don Mueang International Airport (pronounced dohn moo-ang). Many airlines use both of these airports. It is important to check which airport your flight will arrive at and depart from before making travel arrangements in Bangkok.

For some visitors to Thailand, entry visas are required before they can visit the country. You can find out whether or not you need one by asking your local embassy or by visiting thaiembassy.com/thailand/visa_to_thailand.php. If you need an entry visa but don’t have time to get one before arriving
