Staying by the beach is the best way to enjoy Miami. If you are looking for a hotel, the best beach area is South Beach. Although the hotels will be more expensive in this area, it is worth it for the great views and not having to drive anywhere if you want to go to the beach.

If you want something more affordable, you can stay in downtown Miami or by Biscayne Bay (it will be cheaper because they are further away from South Beach). You can still get to South Beach easily by car or public transport if you want to visit.

The best time of year to visit Miami is during spring break (March) or between November and May (avoid summer as it is too hot and humid).
