Have you been thinking about taking a vacation for a while now, but are unsure where to go? Or perhaps you have been dreaming about visiting that one place you’ve always wanted to go, but are worried about the cost? Well, fear no more! There are several places around the world that don’t cost an arm and a leg to visit and experience. And we’ve got the list of affordable destinations for every month of the year!
The perfect time to visit Vietnam is during January. The weather is cool (around 82 degrees Fahrenheit!) and the rain is minimal, which means less humidity and ideal conditions for sightseeing. The best part? Flights from New York City to Ho Chi Minh City usually start at just $845.
February is one of the cheapest months to travel to China. The weather will be cold – averaging around 36 degrees Fahrenheit in Beijing and Shanghai – but most of the country’s popular tourist sites are indoors, making it still enjoyable to visit. Flights usually start at $800 or less roundtrip from major U.S. cities like Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Norway may seem like an expensive destination, but
Each month we look at the different places around the world that are best to visit. From December through to February, the top destinations are all located in the southern hemisphere, and this is due to the fact that these months represent summertime for those countries.
In January and February, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina are all great choices for travellers looking for a warm place to spend their vacation. These destinations tend to be very popular during these months, but there are still many cheap travel deals available if you book early enough.
March is when spring starts in most of Europe and the northern hemisphere, so it’s a good time to visit Italy and Spain. The snow in many of these countries will have melted by then, meaning that skiing vacations are no longer an option.
During April and May, Japan is one of the best destinations because of the cherry blossoms that bloom during this period. Japan also has plenty of interesting festivals throughout April and May, which means visitors can enjoy both the beautiful scenery as well as some Japanese culture at its finest.
1. January: Bangkok, Thailand
Bangkok is a great place to visit any time of the year, but it’s especially nice in January. Since this is the high tourist season for Thailand, you’ll find lots of tourists and locals celebrating New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day with fireworks and festivities. Plus, there are a ton of music festivals and parades that take place during this time.
The weather is also much more pleasant at this time than the rest of the year. It’s hot and humid during the months of November to March, but it’s not unbearable. The average temperature during January is only 90 degrees Fahrenheit, which is considerably cooler than the 104-degree average in April.
2. February: Quito, Ecuador
If you’re looking for a destination to escape the cold winter weather in February, consider heading to Quito, Ecuador. This city may be located on the equator, but it sits over 9,000 feet above sea level so the temperatures are actually pretty cool all year round. You can expect daytime temperatures to be around 70 degrees Fahrenheit at this time of year.
There are also lots of things to see and do in Quito. The city boasts a historic center that is filled with beautiful colonial architecture and monuments

Traveling can be a fun and exciting experience for those who like to see new places and experience different cultures. It can be difficult, however, to find travel destinations that are both fun and affordable. Many people think that they have to spend thousands of dollars just to visit a place they’ve never been before. While this is true for some vacations that consist of staying in five star hotels and eating at extravagant restaurants, there are plenty of ways to make traveling affordable while still making the most out of your trip.
One of the best ways to save money while traveling is to visit lesser known destinations during their off seasons. Many popular tourist destinations are far less expensive during their low seasons, which typically fall during the winter months (think Florida beaches) or during the summer months when kids are out of school (think theme parks). By visiting these locations during the off season, you can expect lower prices on everything from hotel rooms to plane tickets without sacrificing your time in paradise.
Another great way to save money while traveling is by booking your trip with one of the many travel discount sites that have become increasingly popular over the past few years. These sites are an easy way for visitors to find incredible deals on hotels, all-inclusive resorts, cruises, flights, rental cars and
You know that feeling. You’ve seen pictures of white sand beaches. You’ve felt the warm tropical water on your feet. The only thing standing in your way is your budget.
